About the CarbonCycle

The CarbonCycle is an exciting initiative focused on reducing CO2 emissions by increasing the number of commuter journeys conducted by bicycle. The aim is to generate more cycling journeys and less reliance on the car for short trips.

BikeRight! is supporting both individuals and organisations to increase their cycling rates. In addition to environmental benefits, regular cycling leads to improvements in health and fitness, reduced road congestion, more pleasant communities and a reduced demand for car parking provision.

Organisations and individuals can register on The CarbonCycle website and monitor their cycle journeys completely free of charge. Participants can set goals and see how they are performing in terms of CO2 savings, miles cycled, calories burnt and money saved. Companies can also compare their performance against other organisations using our carbon emission league tables.

BikeRight! provides a range of other events and initiatives to encourage cycling. More information can be found using the links on the left for organisations and individuals.
