- The CarbonCycle website is open to all individuals and organisations.
- Registration and use of The CarbonCycle website is free. Participants may register as an individual or as part of an organisation/department within an organisation.
- To register under an organisation, management of the organisation in question must agree to take part in The CarbonCycle. Organisation registration is administered by BikeRight!
- An organisation is defined as an employer, not a club or group of friends.
- Any misuse of the website will result in the removal of the user's profile.
- All participants conduct cycle journeys at their own risk. Participants should ensure that bicycles are in a roadworthy condition and that the Highway Code is observed at all times.
- Neither BikeRight! or any sponsor or promoter of The CarbonCycle accepts responsibility for any injury sustained or property damaged during activities connected with The CarbonCycle website.
Data Protection Statement
Your information will be held by BikeRight! and partners in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Data collected will be used by BikeRight! to evaluate the project and to demonstrate the impact the project has on participants. Anonymous reports will be drawn and the results of any analysis will be used to influence and support further local funding bids and help define the environmental and health benefits of active travel.
BikeRight! will not pass on personal information to third parties, but may use the personal information submitted on registration to provide information or services relating to the CarbonCycle project or other BikeRight! projects. Participants can opt out of receiving communications from BikeRight! at any time.
